We are very proud to present the fruit of our first collaboration with another brand.

CABOCLO is a shoe brand created by Juliano, aka JUBA, our brazillian brother and always a great inspiration.
CABOCLO is about making useful things out of what they find in their habitat. His shoes are built with recycled tires for the soles and leather for the rest, very simple and beautiful at the same time.

They recently moved their office into our post industrial neighbourhood in Barcelona and were curious to know if we could build a couch for his showroom which represented their spirit.

As usual, other problems aroused, a big space but a small access. We needed to make it through a small stairway. It had to be collapsible, and scafolds seemed like a very good option.

Finally we came up with a solution which combined the materials they use, as we do at WASTE, recycled tires plus leather and added the scaffolds from a company closing down near by.

The result is a couch built with a scaffold structure, laminated tires braided to form a net holding the cushions and recycled car leather.

Dimensions: 300cm long x 240 cm and 120cm deep.
