Rainbow Warrior III plays a key role in Greenpeace campaigns, allowing to bear witness and take action to prevent environmental crimes around the world.
The crew wanted to upgrade the chill out area. They also need some time and space to rest and enjoy, it’s not all work!.
Proudly enough, they got in touch with Waste to order a bunch of our bean bags. We delivered them to the boat when stopping at the Barcelona Port last Christmas getting the chance to have a private tour.
So now our products are sailing the seas in one of the most sustainable ways…
Building one of our bags requires some special ingredients. Discarded head and arm rests, seatbelts and rubber straps just to mention a few.
Unstitching and working on them manually, combining colours and materials to achieve the perfect look. Then we take them to the local prison in Barcelona where they are stitched.
This work just makes each WASTE bag unique.
